About Pug Rescue of San Diego County

|
Pug Rescue of San Diego County (PRSDC) is an all volunteer, 501-(3)C charitable organization dedicated
to rescuing unwanted, neglected, abandoned, and relinquished Pugs and placing them into a new home
where they may live out their lives in a loving and caring environment.
Our organization has been in existence for over 18 years and is recognized as one of the most respected, organized, and active groups in Southern California. Each year we rescue more than 100 Pugs. Most of us work a full-time job and volunteer for PRSDC. This work demands the time, effort, and love of dozens of volunteers to serve in many capacities. Pug Rescue's Board of Directors meet several times each year to discuss issues of concern and to plan our various events throughout the year. The general membership meets yearly to be informed by the Board of ongoing issues, general member concerns, and to help organize events. We usually hold six major events throughout the year:
Board Members and volunteers represent PRSDC at Animal Shelter rescue meetings; ride in the La Mesa Flag Day Parade; participate in the Escondido Paws in the Park; and are part of other civic events. We invite you to join PRSDC for the love of Pugs by becoming a member. Your membership is an important part of keeping our mission alive. You can also make a donation to this worthwhile cause.
