Description: Roscoe comes to Pug Rescue from the shelter, and he is doing well in his foster home. He is recovering from a yeast infection on his skin, but he should be back in perfect puggy health in no time with a fabulous coat of thick fur!

Update - 12/1/09 - I got to meet Roscoe this week, and his coat is coming in beautifully, and is very thick and soft. Roscoe gets along great with other dogs, and as you can see, he loves his kitty cat! Roscoe is well mannered in the house, and loves to follow his foster mom around. Roscoe listens well, and is a sweet, loving fellow.

Roscoe does have some weakness and we suspect arthritis in his lower back and back legs. Unfortunately this has manifested in making Roscoe a bit incontinent. He knows to pee outside, but he is often unaware of pooping, and will just go as he walks. We are trying various medications to see if they will help, but Roscoe will need a home who is willing to be patient with his "out of potty" experiences. He is a sweet, loving boy, and deserves a loving home of his own. Won't you consider adding Roscoe to your family?

Update 12/21/09 Roscoe is now on steroids to help with his potty issues, and he has not had an accident inside since he started his meds! This is great news, but it does mean that Roscoe will have to be on them indefinitely. They are inexpensive, and if you don't mind giving him a pill in his food, Roscoe will be a great addition to your family!

update 2/5/10 - Roscoe is doing well with his meds, and now simply wears a belly band while in the house. He is able to hold it all night, and as long as he gets out first thing in the morning he knows to go potty outside. Roscoe is truly a sweet guy, and it's not his fault that he has these "out of potty" experiences. He just needs a loving family that is willing to give him some extra care. He is sweet as can be and loves everyone he meets. Please consider giving Roscoe a forever home.

New Beginning: Roscoe has found a new forever home! Roscoe will be joining a family that loves pugs and is ready to add this wonderful guy to their family. Hey Roscoe, tell them to bring you to the St. Pugtrick's party! We'd love to see you with your new family!
