Description: Meet Goliath. Goliath is one of our beloved "Strollin' Seniors" and is a wonderful, loving guy. Goliath came to Pug Rescue with growths all over his body, terrible teeth, hadn't been neutered and was sick with kennel cough. Through the work of Pug Rescue and Goliath's foster mom, he is now healthy, happy, and enjoying life! Goliath has been neutered, had his teeth cleaned and some pulled, had all his lumps and bumps removed, and his hair is now growing back in and he looks fantastic!

Goliath is housebroken, quite an amazing thing for a guy who wasn't neutered until he was 10! His foster mom says he would never dream of going potty in the house. In his foster home, Goliath has a pug sister, two great dane friends, three human children, and two cats! Goliath gets along with everyone. In fact, one of the cats is blind and often walks over top of Goliath, and even licks him, and Goliath just lets her. What a great dog!

Goliath is rock steady in social situations, and frequently goes to the dog park and band practice with his kids. He is not bothered by any of the noise or commotion of band practice, and makes friends wherever he goes. Goliath will give kisses if invited to, but isn't a crazy in your face licker like many of our pug friends. He sleeps in his own dog bed at night, doesn't chew things up, and is not a barker. He is great on a leash and easy to walk, and while he loves food he doesn't try to steal from his foster brothers and sisters. He also likes to "talk" in the morning and greets his foster mom with happy pug chatter every day.

One funny thing about Goliath - he often falls asleep with his front legs and chin on the ground and his bottom in the air! We are working on getting pictures of this adorable behavior.

Goliath is truly a wonderful dog, and in the words of his foster mom he has a "sincere and loving nature." Wouldn't you like to share your life with such a wonderful guy?
